Teresa grew up in the southern Missouri town of Cabool and has lived her entire adult life just 10 miles
down the road in Mountain Grove. She comes from a multi-generational Ozarks family and remembers
her Grandmother and also her Mom saying “there’s no better place to live than right here in the Ozarks”
and she believes that too. Having been raised by a Father and Mother who were involved in the
construction and interior design business Teresa spent many years working in the family business and
ran her own freelance interior design business.
She married her husband Ray, a native Texan in 1974 and their son Justin was born in 1976 a red headed
and freckle faced little boy full of energy. Teresa and Ray worked together from 1980 until 2005 when
they were owners of the local funeral home which they sold in 2005 to their partner.
Teresa and Ray are involved with faith-based rehab ministries in their community. They love seeing lives
changed and families reunited through people surrendering to the Lord and letting Him work in their
life. Teresa has always been very involved in church having played the piano and also worked in
womens and childrens ministries for many years. She also loves to be involved with community
projects and has served on the Downtown Association and Tourism Committee for the town of
Mountain Grove. In her free time she loves to travel, go antiquing, spend time with her family, or start
another project in her home.
Teresa obtained her Realtor license in 2009 and immediately knew it was a perfect fit for her. She
furthered her education and obtained her Brokers license in 2012. Having worked with the public in her
own business as well as years of experience with construction and design is a benefit to Buyers and
Sellers who work with her. Whether she is suggesting small improvements that will make a difference
to a Sellers bottom line or helping a Buyer have a vision for a homes potential, Teresa knows owning a
home is the largest investment most of us will ever have. She truly feels honored when someone trusts
her to help them sell the place where they have made so many memories or help them find the place
where they will make new ones.
